Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp coconut syrup
  • 2 tbsp caramel syrup
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 8 oz strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream
  • 1 pinch toasted coconut flakes

Instructions:

  1. Combine the water and granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the liquid becomes clear.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in the coconut, caramel, and chocolate syrups until the mixture is a mahogany-colored, uniform blend.
  3. Prepare 8 oz of strong brewed coffee or espresso and pour it into a 16 oz glass.
  4. Stir 2-3 tablespoons of the prepared homemade German Chocolate syrup into the hot coffee.
  5. Pour in the whole milk or half-and-half, stirring gently.
  6. Top the drink with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes.
