Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp coconut syrup
- 2 tbsp caramel syrup
- 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 8 oz strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp whipped cream
- 1 pinch toasted coconut flakes
Instructions:
- Combine the water and granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the liquid becomes clear.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the coconut, caramel, and chocolate syrups until the mixture is a mahogany-colored, uniform blend.
- Prepare 8 oz of strong brewed coffee or espresso and pour it into a 16 oz glass.
- Stir 2-3 tablespoons of the prepared homemade German Chocolate syrup into the hot coffee.
- Pour in the whole milk or half-and-half, stirring gently.
- Top the drink with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes.
