Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-baked 9-inch pie crust
  • 3 oz strawberry gelatin powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1.5 cups 7Up
  • 2 lbs fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Instructions:

  1. Hull and slice the fresh strawberries into uniform quarters, then arrange them densely in the pre-baked crust, piling them high in the center to create a dome effect.
  2. Combine the strawberry gelatin, sugar, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan and slowly whisk in the 7Up.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a gentle boil, whisking for 3–4 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes translucent.
  4. Remove the glaze from heat and allow it to cool for 5 minutes to prevent the berries from softening.
  5. Pour the glaze evenly over the strawberries, using a spatula to ensure it fills all the gaps.
  6. Place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to allow the cornstarch-gelatin bond to set completely before slicing.
