Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste

Instructions:

  1. In a Mason jar or French press, combine the coarsely ground coffee and filtered water.
  2. Gently stir the mixture to ensure all coffee grounds are fully saturated.
  3. Cover the container and let it steep at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
  4. Strain the coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or press the plunger down to create a smooth concentrate.
  5. In a small bowl or jar, combine the heavy whipping cream, whole milk, and vanilla syrup.
  6. Stir in the vanilla bean paste until well combined.
  7. Use a whisk or milk frother for 30 seconds until the mixture is slightly thickened and frothy.
  8. Fill a tall glass to the top with ice cubes.
  9. Pour the prepared cold brew coffee into the glass until it is 3/4 full.
  10. Slowly pour the vanilla sweet cream over the coffee to create a cascading effect.
