Ingredients:
- 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans
- 4 cups filtered water
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp vanilla syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste
Instructions:
- In a Mason jar or French press, combine the coarsely ground coffee and filtered water.
- Gently stir the mixture to ensure all coffee grounds are fully saturated.
- Cover the container and let it steep at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
- Strain the coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or press the plunger down to create a smooth concentrate.
- In a small bowl or jar, combine the heavy whipping cream, whole milk, and vanilla syrup.
- Stir in the vanilla bean paste until well combined.
- Use a whisk or milk frother for 30 seconds until the mixture is slightly thickened and frothy.
- Fill a tall glass to the top with ice cubes.
- Pour the prepared cold brew coffee into the glass until it is 3/4 full.
- Slowly pour the vanilla sweet cream over the coffee to create a cascading effect.
