Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (907g) Ground beef (85/15 blend)
- 1 medium (150g) Yellow onion, finely diced
- 2 tbsp (30g) Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp (48g) Tomato paste
- 1 tsp (2g) Smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup (120g) Beef stock (low sodium)
- 1 tsp (6g) Salt
- 1/2 tsp (1g) Black pepper
- 32 oz (907g) Frozen tater tots
- 3 cups (340g) Sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Brown the ground beef and onions in a skillet, drain fat, then stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire, paprika, beef stock, salt, and pepper, simmering until thickened.
- Spread the beef mixture into a 9x13 baking dish and top with 2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Arrange the tater tots in tight, organized rows over the cheese layer.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove, sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of cheese, and bake for another 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
