Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 3 tbsp (65g) raw honey
  • 1 tsp (2.6g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Place the softened butter in the mixing bowl.
  2. Beat on medium high speed for 2-3 minutes until the butter shifts from deep yellow to a pale, creamy ivory color. Note: This aeration is what makes it spreadable
  3. Slowly drizzle in the honey while continuing to whip on medium speed.
  4. Incorporate the honey gradually until the mixture looks glossy and smooth.
  5. Reduce the mixer speed to low.
  6. Add the cinnamon and sea salt.
  7. Mix just until a uniform, mahogany speckled color appears.
  8. Use a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl to ensure no unmixed butter remains.
