Ingredients:
- 18 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp fine sea salt
- 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring a 2-inch overhang on two sides to create a sling for easy removal.
- In a large microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds. Remove and stir with a silicone spatula. The mixture will be chunky.
- Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring vigorously between each, until the mixture is thick, glossy, and the chocolate is completely melted.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and fine sea salt. Quickly fold in the chopped walnuts if using.
- Scrape the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Chill for at least 2 hours before slicing into 36 squares.
