Ingredients:
- 2 Salmon Fillets (6 oz / 170g each), skin-on or skinless
- 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Clover Honey
- 1 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Rice Vinegar
- 3 cloves Garlic, finely minced
- 1/2 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 Green Onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
Instructions:
- Remove salmon fillets from the refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking. Use a paper towel to pat the surface bone-dry to ensure proper glaze adhesion.
- Season the fillets evenly with 1/2 tsp kosher salt and 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the clover honey, light brown sugar, low-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and toasted sesame oil until the sugars are partially dissolved.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned fillets in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 5 minutes until the edges start to turn opaque.
- Use a silicone basting brush to apply a thick layer of the honey garlic glaze over the top of the fillets. Continue air frying for another 3 to 5 minutes until the glaze is bubbling and mahogany brown.
- Insert a thermometer into the thickest part; it should read 140-145°F.
- Remove from the air fryer and apply a final layer of glaze. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
