Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- 0.5 tsp kosher salt
- 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper
- 0.25 cup honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels. Season with kosher salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic until the honey is fully emulsified.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and spoon the glaze generously over each piece.
- Bake for 10 minutes until the fish starts to turn opaque.
- Turn the oven to broil for 2 minutes to further caramelize the honey glaze until bubbly and dark mahogany.
