Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 tbsp (45ml) pure maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp (1g) fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Place the softened butter into a medium mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer on medium-high speed, beat the butter for about 30 seconds until pale ivory and smooth.
- Drizzle in the maple syrup and add the sea salt. Increase the mixer speed to high and whip the mixture for 60–90 seconds until a stiff peak consistency is achieved.
- Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure all ingredients are incorporated.
- Perform one final 10-second whip until the color is uniform and the texture is velvety.
