Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Place the softened butter into a medium mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer on medium-high speed, beat the butter for about 30 seconds until pale ivory and smooth.
  2. Drizzle in the maple syrup and add the sea salt. Increase the mixer speed to high and whip the mixture for 60–90 seconds until a stiff peak consistency is achieved.
  3. Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure all ingredients are incorporated.
  4. Perform one final 10-second whip until the color is uniform and the texture is velvety.
