Ingredients:

  • 18 oz bittersweet chocolate chips (60% to 70% cacao)
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp flaked sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an inch of overhang on the sides to create a sling for easy removal.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, combine the dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter.
  3. Stir constantly with a silicone spatula until the mixture is completely smooth, glossy, and the chocolate has fully melted. Remove from heat immediately to prevent seizing.
  4. Fold in the pure vanilla extract and flaked sea salt until well incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm before slicing into 36 squares.
