Ingredients:
- 18 oz bittersweet chocolate chips (60% to 70% cacao)
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp flaked sea salt
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an inch of overhang on the sides to create a sling for easy removal.
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, combine the dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter.
- Stir constantly with a silicone spatula until the mixture is completely smooth, glossy, and the chocolate has fully melted. Remove from heat immediately to prevent seizing.
- Fold in the pure vanilla extract and flaked sea salt until well incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm before slicing into 36 squares.
